A Complete Simplicity 16 Veranda Installation Project to Replace Existing Timber Structure in Preston

We were delighted to receive these fantastic photographs from our customer in Preston who captured the progression of his installation from start to finish. With an existing timber structure on his patio, the customer wanted to replace it with a solution with longer longevity and a fresh look, so our classic Simplicity 16 veranda was just what the doctor ordered!
“I contacted Canoports originally in 2019 for advice and a quotation on a Simplicity 16 canopy to replace a timber canopy and I wanted to integrate hidden drainage.
The technical advice given was excellent in making plans for replacing the original canopy and integrating this with a custom extension in terms of colour matching and hidden drainage, which was a key requirement for the project. In 2020 I spoke with Kevin Horne, Canoports MD, who gave guidance and advice on how to identify the correct product and roof design to meet my needs.”
The timber structure was easily removed from the patio area by Mark and, by closely following the supplied installation guide and bespoke technical drawings for his ordered veranda system, the new Simplicity 16 was soon fully installed.
The integral drainage is a great option that’s available with the Simplicity 16, with the eaves beam gutter at the front of the roof capturing rainwater and diverting it to a downpipe within the upright post to evacuate safely away to the sewer.
